New adjusted toll fees will be collected at the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) starting on March 2, 2025.
At the Open System (Balintawak, Caloocan, Mindanao Ave to North of Marilao), motorists will pay an additional ₱5.00 for Class 1, ₱13.00 for Class 2, and ₱15.00 for Class 3.
At the Closed System, (North of Marilao to Sta. Ines, Mabalacat City), motorists will pay an additional ₱52.00 for Class 1, ₱129.00 for Class 2, and ₱156.00 for Class 3.
At Subic-Tipo, an additional ₱7.00 for Class 1, ₱18.00 for Class 2, and ₱21.00 for Class 3 will be collected from the motorists.
Those travelling NLEX end to end (Metro Manila to Sta. Ines, Mabalacat City) will pay an additional ₱57.00 for Class 1, ₱142.00 for Class 2, and ₱171.00 for Class 3.
To help curb inflation and cushion the impact thereof on the toll expressway users, NLEX Corp. was allowed this year to collect only 50% (1st Tranche) of the provisionally approved 2022 periodic toll rate adjustments.
Further, NLEX Corp. was allowed to recover its investment for the newly completed Candaba 3rd Viaduct by way of add-on toll fees at the Closed System.
It can be recalled that the Candaba 3rd Viaduct was partially opened to the motorists on August 15, 2024 (Zone 1), and October 22, 2024 (Zone 2); and was fully opened on December 10, 2024, without collection of add-on toll fees.
The new provisionally approved toll rate adjustments and add-on toll rates have undergone thorough, meticulous and lengthy review by TRB, and were allowed to be implemented only after NLEX Corp. complied with all the procedures and requirements under the 2013 TRB Revised Rules of Procedure.
